Visit to the Genoese Synagogue
The synagogue in Genoa is located in the residential area of Castelletto, in Bertora street. It represents the main point of reference for the genovese Jewish community. The synagogue was built in a byzantine style in 1935, designed by F. Morando, and is the most recent of the Jewish centres in the city. The "small temple", where the old furniture (also the Aron Kodesh) of the previous XVIII c synagogue has been positioned, can be visited on request. If you want to book a visit to the Genoese Synagogue, write to me at least 2 weeks before your arrival in Genoa.
